Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Governor Hisham Ramez said, in an interview with a satellite channel Al Nahar, that the Egyptian government has not reached a decision yet on obtaining a loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), according to Al Mal.
The IMF outlook towards Egypt became more positive, after the reforms that has been taken, Ramez added.
Egypt's government took nearly two months ago subsidy reforms, such as increasing the prices of petrol and imposing new taxes.
Such reforms had not been expected by the fund, Ramez said, adding that the reforms will likely boost the national economic and curb the budget deficit.
